The Imagination Studio
Our Story
At Imagination Studio, our journey has been fueled by Cristina's lifelong dream of creating a vibrant children's art studio where creativity can flourish. Inspired by her experiences working at a Reggio preschool and traveling while working in fashion, Cristina developed a passion for integrating art with education. This led her to open a beloved art studio in Culver City, which quickly became a cherished community space. When the studio had to close, we saw it as an opportunity to bring that magic to Long Beach.
Long Beach
Our new adventure began when we discovered a charming property with a garage space in Long Beach, perfect for our vision. Along the way, our journey was enriched by the birth of our two daughters. One of our daughters uses a wheelchair and leg braces with a walker, which opened our eyes to the challenges of finding accessible spaces. This made us even more determined to create a safe haven where all children, regardless of their abilities, could play, learn, and grow. We also wanted to create a welcoming place for moms and their young ones to participate in mommy and me classes and find a supportive community.
Vision
We designed Imagination Studio as a sanctuary for imaginative play and creative expression, free from the need for screens. Here, children can engage in a variety of age appropriate activities creating endless memories with new friends in a safe environment. Our studio is a place where the simple joys of childhood are celebrated, allowing kids to rediscover the magic of creating with their own hands.
